My question is: When will I see a new release in the cellphones market? I've bought a Razr on the first day it was sold and since then nothing else appears. Cellphones are becoming like shoes. We have the Nike Shox dominating the market for long time and that's it! Nobody wants to develop a new product, a different one, something that makes us exciting to get . They are just converging unusefull functionalities and putting them on the shelves. I don't know if we are having a lapse of criativity but I have not seen any big difference in cellphones markt in the last 3 years. The rise and fall of the Razr is a great analisys although it just focus on the family of products and didn't see that what is really missing, the next generation. The fall could be easyly beated by an continuous product development. Incompetence, lack of holistic market vision skills or just a necessary gap between inovation, maybe one of them.
